Alisa Sadikova
Alisa is a harpist of rare distinction whose international career was forged through worldclass debuts as a young child. Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, she began her harp studies in 2010 at the Special Music School of the Saint Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory with Karina Maleeva. She received the Salvi Foundation Scholarship and continued her studies with Catherine Michel at the Cambridge Musica Mundi High School in Belgium. In 2025, she completed her Bachelor of Music degree in harp at The Juilliard School and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree with Nancy Allen as a recipient of the prestigious Kovner Fellowship. Her previous awards include the Guzik Foundation Grant (2021–2025) and the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship (2024–2025). Her international career began in 2010 when, as a Grand Prize winner at her debut competition, she
performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and embarked on a ten-city U.S. tour. At eight years old, she debuted as soloist with orchestra at the Moscow House of Music, performing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp in C major, K. 299 under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov, a performance that launched her onto the world stage. Grand Prize winners of the 2025 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition and winners of the CAG Louis and Susan Meisel Prize, the Katarina String Quartet has quickly distinguished itself as one of North America’s most compelling young ensembles. Known for their personable concert presentations and community leadership, they explore all chamber music, from contemporary and canonized works to folk tunes. The tightly-knit ensemble recently served as the 2024-2026 Graduate Resident String Quartet at The Juilliard School, and is the current Quartet in Residence at the New England Conservatory.
The ensemble’s 2026/27 season features performances across Europe, Canada, and the United States, including appearances at Jordan Hall, Merkin Hall, Princeton University Summer Chamber Concerts, Middlebury College, Pepperdine University, and University of Victoria. Past seasons have brought the ensemble to Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Chamber Music Detroit, University of Notre Dame, and Dame Myra Hess Concerts. The quartet was recently selected for Music for the Future, an initiative presented by Project: Music Heals Us which brings meaningful collaborative music residencies into carceral facilities, reentry programs, addiction treatment centers, and juvenile youth facilities. The ensemble also collaborates with other community-focused organizations such as Music for Food and Reffettorio Harlem. In the competition world, recent honors include the ProQuartet Prize and Drimnin String Quartet Academy Prize at the 2025 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition, and the Gold Medal and BIPOC Composer Prize at the 2024 St. Paul Chamber Music Competition. Regina Tanujaya
Regina Tanujaya is a Chinese-Indonesian pianist, collaborator, and educator.
Dr. Tanujaya is rapidly distinguishing herself amongst her peers as a pianist of growing accomplishments. She is the winner of both national and international competitions including the University of Pelita Harapan's 5th National Piano Competition in Indonesia in 2012, the IBLA International Competition, where she performed in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall as part of the grand prize, amongst many others. She actively participates in summer music festivals leading to performances around the world. She performed at “Viana Do Castelo International Music Festival” in Portugal and with Ashdod Symphony Orchestra conducted by Uri Segal in Perugia, Italy in 2013. She also did a solo performance at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City in 2013. In summer 2019, she had a tour concert in six different cities in Czech Republic, including Prague. She was featured in several music magazines and TV broadcasting in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Recently, she was featured in VoyageKC Magazine with an interview of her life and journey as a pianist and performed a solo recital at the Steinway Hall - Detroit in March 2023. Dr. Tanujaya also actively performs in numerous concert series and premieres new works. Mafalda Santos, Cello | Chelsea Strayer, Double Bass
Founded in 2024, On Fourth and Fifth brings together cellist Mafalda Santos and double bassist Chelsea Strayer, who met as graduate and postgraduate students at Yale University. Their partnership grew from friendship, resilience, and a shared belief that low strings carry a depth of expression that is often overlooked in classical music.
The duo is dedicated to reimagining what low strings can do. Sometimes the music they want to share already exists. Sometimes it must be adapted. Very often, it has yet to be written at all. This pursuit has led them into close partnership with living composers from the United States and Europe, commissioning new works that reflect both the expressive possibilities of their instruments and the issues they care deeply about. Their projects range from premieres exploring contemporary techniques to new pieces shaped by social topics and community conversations. Read more...
